Founder-led. Healthcare-focused. Colorado-based.

Front Range Health IT is a one-person shop — deliberately. When you call, Jaccob answers. When something breaks, Jaccob fixes it. No tiered support queues, no offshore escalation.

Origin story

Why I started Front Range Health IT

After 11 years working in IT — across help desk, systems administration, and infrastructure — one pattern kept appearing: healthcare practices were struggling with the same set of problems that generic MSPs weren't equipped to solve. Not because the MSPs were bad at IT, but because healthcare IT requires specific knowledge that most providers don't have or don't bother to build.

HIPAA's Security Rule isn't a checkbox. It's a program. Most IT vendors know it requires encryption and MFA, but can't tell you which specific technical safeguards apply to your practice type, what the audit logging requirements are for your EHR, or how to document a risk assessment in a way that satisfies an Office for Civil Rights inquiry. That gap costs practices money — through breaches, through regulatory exposure, and through the sheer amount of time office managers spend worrying about IT problems that should be invisible.

I founded Front Range Health IT in 2026 specifically to serve dental, medical, and nursing home practices in the Denver Metro and Colorado Front Range. Not "also" healthcare. Only healthcare. The specialization isn't a marketing line — it's a constraint I imposed on myself so that every decision I make is informed by how healthcare practices actually work.

How we work

Four principles that shape every client relationship

01 — Ownership

Your tools stay yours

Your Microsoft 365 tenant, your domain, your Acronis backup vault, your hardware — all of it stays in your name. Front Range Health IT manages via delegated access (GDAP), not takeover. If you ever leave, you take everything with you. No data held hostage, no migration fees to recover your own infrastructure.

02 — Honesty

We say what we know and don't know

Front Range Health IT is a new company. Jaccob has 11 years of IT experience. Those are different claims, and we'll never conflate them. We won't promise outcomes we can't guarantee — not "100% HIPAA compliant," not "100% uptime." We will tell you exactly what the controls do, what they protect against, and where you still carry risk.

03 — Transparency

Pricing and contracts are visible

Rates are on the pricing page — $125 or $175 per user per month. The onboarding fee is $1,500, one-time. Contracts are month-to-month with 30-day notice. Nothing is hidden in a proposal. You should know the full cost before you ever pick up the phone.

04 — Restraint

We serve the Front Range only

Serving Denver Metro and the Colorado Front Range isn't a limitation — it's a deliberate choice. Local means on-site when needed. It means understanding Colorado-specific regulations (the Colorado Privacy Act alongside HIPAA). It means not pretending a remote provider can substitute for someone who can actually walk in the door.

Microsoft partnership

What the Microsoft partnership means

Microsoft Partner

Active Microsoft Partner Network member

Front Range Health IT holds an active Microsoft Partner Network membership — a verifiable credential you can confirm at partner.microsoft.com.

The partnership gives Front Range Health IT access to Microsoft's partner-exclusive licensing programs, technical resources, and GDAP (Granular Delegated Admin Privileges) — the mechanism that lets us manage your Microsoft 365 tenant without holding the keys to your organization.

What the partnership doesn't mean

Front Range Health IT is an independent partner, not a Microsoft reseller or franchisee. Microsoft doesn't vet client work, certify our security posture, or provide support on our behalf. When you hire Front Range Health IT, you're hiring Jaccob — the Microsoft partnership is a tool we use, not a quality guarantee Microsoft provides.

We recommend Microsoft 365 Business Premium for healthcare practices because it's genuinely the best fit: it includes Defender, Intune, Azure AD P1 conditional access, and Purview compliance — the tools HIPAA's technical safeguards require — in one license. We recommend it because it works, not because we earn more on it.

Honesty policy

What we can and can't claim right now

Front Range Health IT is a new company. The owner has real experience. Those are different things, and we won't pretend otherwise. Here's where things stand as of launch:

What we can claim
Colorado LLC, active and in good standing
Active Microsoft Partner Network member
Healthcare-only focus — dental, medical, nursing home
Security stack deployed and tested: Defender, Huntress, DNSFilter, Acronis
Microsoft 365 Business Premium expertise
11 years of IT experience (Jaccob personally)
HIPAA-aligned security controls — specific safeguards deployed and documented
What we can't claim yet
Client testimonials or case studies (no clients yet at launch)
"Trusted by Colorado practices" (we're working to earn that)
Cyber liability insurance certificate (pending activation)
Signed BAAs with tool vendors that handle PHI — Microsoft, Acronis, and NinjaOne (in process)
"100% HIPAA compliant" — this phrase doesn't exist. HIPAA is a program, not a status.
"Years of healthcare MSP experience" — Front Range Health IT is new, even if the owner isn't
