Jaccob O'Quinn didn't come to healthcare IT from the outside. He spent nearly five years doing hands-on IT inside MD Anderson Cancer Center — including first-level support for its Epic electronic health record (EHR) system — then moved into enterprise endpoint security at Western Union, a tightly-regulated financial environment where a misconfigured device or an unlogged login isn't an inconvenience, it's a reportable event.

That background made one gap impossible to ignore: small practices were being served by generalist IT companies who could keep the computers on, but couldn't match a setup to HIPAA's specific requirements, didn't understand clinical software, and didn't know what a health-privacy auditor actually expects to see.

Front Range Health IT exists to close that gap. It works only with healthcare practices, only on the Colorado Front Range, so the depth compounds instead of spreading thin — Eaglesoft's quirks, why imaging needs its own slice of the network, and how the Colorado Privacy Act layers on top of HIPAA.
